HIVETECKS® is Hongseong’s honeycomb panel brand: a honeycomb structural core between two metal skins. It is the lightest of the double-skin composite panels, with high strength and excellent flatness thanks to the structural core.
HIVETECKS is widely used as an alternative to plywood and urethane foam, as well as solid aluminium or wood — not only for building cladding but also shipbuilding, railway, vehicles and aerospace. Hongseong runs Korea’s first and only continuous honeycomb panel line, giving higher productivity than press production and consistent quality.
